Hello! I'm Kristina, a digital photographer from Andover, Massachusetts. I love New England and all the beautiful landscapes it has to offer!
I first discovered my passion for photography in high school where I practiced traditional film photography for 2 years. Learning the technical skills of developing and processing my own images cultivated my interest and appreciation for the art of photography.
In 2015, I bought my first DSLR camera. My photography captures the vibrant and dramatic landscapes, cityscapes, and seascapes of New England. My work is mostly inspired by long exposure photography and the capture of time. My approach to post-processing is to treat each photograph like a painting - paying attention to each section of the photo and enhancing detail that captures the viewers eye.
Professionally, I am a Licensed Certified Social Worker. I graduated with my Masters degree in Social Work from Boston College in 2016 and received my undergraduate degree in Sociology from the University of Tampa in 2013.
I dedicate this website and my photography to my mother Gina Cappello who was killed in a tragic accident on June 1, 2016. She is always with me when I am taking photos. I remember her through everything beautiful in nature.
RIP Mom. Always in my heart.
